A former Commissioner for Transportation during the Rochas Okorocha administration, Mr. Laz Okafor Anyanwu, has been sent to 3 years in prison for diversion of ₦180m Imo state fund.
Mr. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu on his Facebook page, announced the conviction.
According to Nwaogwugwu, the court ordered the return of the looted funds back to the coffers of the state government.
The Uzodimma administration have been bent on recovering looted funds and state property allegedly misappropriated under Okorocha’s watch.
