Don’t blackmail me to get reappointed by Hope Uzodinma, Okeoma tells sacked Commissioner
The Imo State Punch Newspaper Correspondent, Mr Chidiebube Okeoma, has berated a sacked commissioner in Imo State, Mr. Fabian Ihekwueme, for trying to link him to a fake transfer made to a fake UBA bank account, alleged to be owned by Okeoma.
Chidiebube Okeoma was reportedly arrested and beaten up by security operatives at the Imo State Government House, while the Chief Security Officer to Senator Hope Uzodinma, had reportedly deleted videos of a protest by Imo sweepers Okeoma had recorded.
The State Government, reacting through the Commissioner for Information, Mr Declan Emelumba, had alleged that nobody beat Okeoma, while accusing him of being a member of the opposition.
Chidiebube Okeoma’s post concerning a N250,000 payment from PDP reads as follows:
I do not operate any UBA account anywhere in the world.
PDP couldn’t have paid money into a non existent account allegedly owed by me.
I am not a political actor and I insist that my rights were trampled upon.
One Fabian Ihekwueme who alleged that PDP paid N250, 000 into my non existent UBA account can’t use nwa Okeoma to get a reappointment.
I have briefed my lawyers on this.
