The ongoing revalidation of membership program of Imo APC in the 27 Local Government Areas will likely bring the exit of the political family of the former governor Rochas Okorocha, otherwise known as the Rescue Mission group from the party.

Available information to Trumpeta revealed that the former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha who is the leader of the Rescue Mission group and some of his key followers are alleged not to have no interest in the party again as their followers are not part of Imo APC Registration Exercise and won’t take part in the congress coming up thereafter.

The Rescue Mission group as Trumpeta gathered, has resolved to stay on their own and avoid working with CampHope and the Coalition.

Dan Nwafor who is seen as Rescue Mission APC party factional Chairman it was learnt has insisted that the Rescue Mission will remain calm to watch unfolding events than taking part in the programs of Nlemigbo.

Imo APC last weekend embarked on fresh registration to include all factions who did not register during the earlier program.

The fresh registration, this newspaper gathered, sparked off controversy at different quarters.

Report now revealed that the Rescue Mission group led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha has lost out for not being part of the revalidation and registration exercise. According to information, the national office having received report of exclusion of the likes of Okorocha, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and followers sent a team to make peace.

The team asked the Prince Marcon Nlemigbo led caretaker state exco to open up fresh revalidation exercise to accommodate Okorocha, Araraume and others not involved.

But Trumpeta was told that the Okorocha group shunned the exercise on the premise that their factional chairman, Dan Nwafor should take charge of the party activities in the State.

With the National recognizing Nlemigbo and their exercise, Rescue Mission non involvement means they have lost out.
